Paddle Against Poverty – Get involved and make a Difference.

Paddle Against Poverty is part of Bali Ocean Week bringing a brighter future to Indonesia. The Bali Ocean week is a week-long community event that brings clean water, food and opportunity to those facing a life in poverty, plants thousands of corals, cleans rivers and recycles tons of plastic.

The Paddle against poverty is part of the closing celebration of the Bali Ocean Week starting from Kanoa and ending at Times Warung. On Sunday June 14th or the most suitable ocean day, over 100 surfers, locals, and legends will paddle the Bali coastline to raise funds for urgent causes in East Indonesia and Greater Bali.

The event is organized by local community group Right Reasons Funding and here are the goals for this event.
Feed families and provide clean drinking water in Naba, Flores.
Empower and educate children in Suwung.
Fund education programs for underprivileged kids in Bali.
