Editorial. This week in Bali.

I hear a lot of people saying we are heading into the low season. I don’t know if I agree, I think there are a couple of months more before things slow down proper and that slowdown is just before Christmas. Obviously things are different now from what they were say ten years ago―venues and people are more spread out around the island for one thing, but I don’t think it has changed so much. It has basically followed the winds of the dry and wet seasons since I can recall and I believe from here on it just ratchets up more. It has always been the case that some venues and individuals are totally rocking it while others are left wallowing in the shallows of the economic shore break. October is fast approaching, but that doesn’t mean anything is slowing down in the nightlife, lessgo! Everywhere I go it is totally rammed. How is it for you? Is it still busy on the island?

AFL footy fever is reaching a climax this week with the Grand Final happening on Saturday. Check this list for the best spots to watch sports all over town. Best Sports Bars in Bali.

Last week’s Jody Wisternoff show at W Bali was a real blast. It was also the last outing for Woobar before some extensive renovations go ahead. Stay tuned, it will be interesting to see what they come up with over the next months.
