Ok, it’s not raining all the time nowadays, but it just doesn’t seem to get its head across the line. The line of Summer anyway! I look out the window right now and see grey skies—touros down town must be pulling their collective hair out. Anyway, it seems to be pretty miserable everywhere at the moment, in Oz anyway, so at least it’s still warm! Be thankful for anything that comes your way said my mother. Bless her and bless us for being here now, there is nowhere like it, no matter what some say. (I just received word from the southern parts of Bali that the sun is shining, so it must be a local thing up this Canggu way for the moment)
Anyway, I wasn’t going to talk about the weather… I spent most of the week thinking and writing about a restaurant called Della Terra this week, which you can check out right here. We also dropped down to Uluwatu and Tabu on Saturday night to check Papü and Gibs go for it in the Tabu club room. That place has changed so much since the last time I was there and appears to be doing better than ever. We had a great time, met some new and old friends, and it was well worth the trip down from Canggu. Friday night I went for a look down Kuta way and wound up with Ed and his rendition of Highway to Hell. The things that happen in Kuta!
