Theo Parrish, a Washington D.C.-born and Chicago-raised DJ, producer, selector, arranger, keyboard player, writer, sculptor, car lover, visual artist, lecturer, and father, is celebrated for his creativity. He founded Sound Signature Recordings, which has independently produced vinyl records since 1997, exclusively using the legendary Archer Record Pressing Co. on Davison Avenue. Parrish continues to engage, challenge, and redefine the boundaries of Black dance music, exemplifying creative independence. He holds a BFA in sound sculpture from Kansas City Art Institute.
