DEKADENZ

Known for its hard-as-steel beats and murky electronic rhythms, Dekadenz is a club night in Jakarta that hosts both local and international talent, including Sunmantra, The Hand, Vladimir Ivkovic, Ivan Smagghe, Manfredas, Powder, and Cosmo Vitelli. Now expanded into a record label, Dekadenz has broadened its artist roster to include Russian dissidents Olta Karawine, DJ Chida’s alter ego Mr. E, Singapore-based DJ Muto, and Malaysia’s Ed Dix. The label also features the Themes For Divided Tribes volumes, a compilation ranging from high-octane industrial beats to half-baked mutant techno, showcasing rabid underdogs from Indonesia.
