Tiefschwarz are an exemplary German tech house/techno duo. The Brothers, Ali and Basti Schwarz started their career from their passion for techno in the early 90s, after plenty of monikers, parties and productions they have stuck with Tiefschwarz. They started their own label in 2006 called Souvenir, explaining the concept as ‘Seeing music as a souvenir, something intimate that you can remember’.
Known for their high profile mixes and voluminous touring, the brothers have engraved themselves deeply into the planet’s techno community. Their label has helped them keep their roots mostly in Berlin but they continue to astonish crowds on every dance floor they set their minds on. Check out their Watergate mix series, tracks like their EP ‘Upstairs’ and ‘Downstairs’ and for more recent mixes their ‘WHATWEPLAYTODAY’ in which they update their followers with whats good in techno today!
