Timo Maas

Timo Maas is an extraordinary German DJ and producer. His music has been heard world wide for the past 30 years – from a residency at the monumental Circoloco at DC-10 Ibiza for 15 years to the tours around Europe and the rest of the planet. His high level of dedication to the underground world of music has been well loved, especially through his incredible productions.
His international discovery started with his remix of ‘Doom Nights’ by Azzido Da Bass. Soon enough, he was supported by the UK garage scene which launched his name onto the desks of artists like Madonna, Depeche Mode, Muse and Fatboy Slim.
He has produced three albums since 2001, his first one being ‘Loud’, later came ‘Pictures’ and more recently in 2013 he released ‘Lifer’. All these albums encompass a sense of depth and emotion mixed with delicate, deep baselines and humongous beats.
His recently acclaimed tracks that you MUST check to get the feel for him are the following; Cuba and Porcelain EP on his own Rocket & Ponies label, his Silver Lines EP on Rejected Records and his remix of Claptones ‘Puppet Theatre’. Obviously there is much more but we would be stuck here all day.
We wouldn’t be giving him enough gratification if we didn’t mention his mad skills on the decks and what he has achieved behind them. From Glastonbury to Ants Ibiza, regular sets at venues like Warung Beach club, right through to his intimate shows in the bunkers around the world.
