Special guest Lithuanian DJ producer, Ten Walls will be playing at Tropical Temptation with Mantra People this Friday. After having a smash worldwide hit in the clubs in 2014, “Walking with Elephants” he went on a somewhat forced hiatus for almost a decade after speaking his mind a little too candidly, but now Ten Walls is back on a world tour and on Melasti beach this Friday. I enjoyed his music back in the day and it will be interesting to see what he has to offer now. He told The Beat last week he has already played in Bali twice before under the moniker Mario Basanov. “Once in KUDETA, and another time in a club somewhere,” he said. I believe that was Jenja – in its heyday. “And I’m super happy to come back,” he continued. He also said he was glad to be back and touring. “Not that I haven’t been touring the whole time, though.” We are glad to see him back, too, doing what he loves. Friday evening, Tropical Temptation.
I haven’t been out much this past week, taking it easy, but I am told things are heating up out there, as in high season style. Tourist numbers are up as confirmed by airport stats for April. KUDETA announced dates for their always much anticipated annual White Party that will be held on 17 August this year, and details of the Resistance part of Ultra Bali at the beginning of June were released this week.
