One of the perks of living in Canggu is a constant supply of new coffee shops serving a quality cup and keeping us caffeinated.
If you are a coffee maniac, like us, then Cups is the new Berawa hot spot for you. Specialty coffee meets specialty loose leaf teas and a sweet menu of brekkie favorites – Smashed Avo is beautified by strawberries and fluffy scramble egg spiced up by sprinkled chili. Cup’s team has also thrown in a few Indonesian classics with a twist – try their Nasi Goreng + innovatively made Cap Cay. They also make their own homemade pastries and if you’re about to get hitched – they’ll conjure up a Willy Wonka-like wedding cake for you too!
What we have to highlight is their Chai Latte – creamiest we’ve had in a long time, maybe ever! Perfect for the afternoons, when you still have coffee cravings, but have to stay away from caffeine, because insomnia is real.
The café opens onto the semi-quiet Tegal Sari Street and has a swanky outdoor seating area. The interior is bright with glass floor to ceiling sliding door, walls are decorated in funky murals and you just have to go check out how creatively they handled the brick partition between the coffee bar and the resto, we will race you to it!
