Spa ESC is a beauty and wellness facility of Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu that makes an ultimate haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. Boasting a modern, Zen-like design, the spa features seven private treatment rooms which include two couple and three single rooms, plus two express rooms for those who are on the go. The spa also holds the fully-equipped fitness center with a beauty salon and yoga room, a spa boutique which sells the spa products, fashion items and home ware, as well as a relaxation area for guests to spend their post-treatment time.
FEEL
Among their signature treatments, we tried their 60-minute “Blu Signature” (750k) which is a therapeutic treatment that can help reduce stress and elevate our overall well-being through the stimulation and harmonization of the flow of qi throughout our body. Using mostly deep pressure, this treatment incorporates various techniques from several massage heritages, including the Javanese, Balinese and Thai techniques, combined with Japanese shiatsu and Hawaiian lomilomi. Representing the waves, our therapist applied the movements which were always connected and never interrupted. It began with a moment of silence to stabilize our respiratory system, whereas our therapist tried to identify our body condition through the soft touch on our back. Based on this, our therapist would know how much pressure to be applied. Hence, a specific session was designed and arranged to give us the most therapeutic benefits that suit our needs. The massage itself was firm yet thoughtful, melting away the tension. After 60 minutes of working on our whole body, our therapist ended the session with a gentle head and scalp massage, concluding our invigorating journey at this spa.
INGREDIENTS
The spa uses products from an exclusive local brand, Bali Radiance. For this treatment, they use Bali Temple Flower massage oil which mixes the aromatic Balinese flowers like cempaka, frangipani and sandalwood as its ingredients.
