Sailla Spa

Another spa option in Kuta.
LOOK
Located on the rear part of the Grand Istana Rama, Sailla Spa enjoys a quieter ambience. The spa building lies among lush garden of the hotel, with its Balinese-style façade showing the island’s craftsmanship through the ornamented pillars and brick walls. Stepping inside, the spa has a spacious lounge area with two chairs for reflexology, a couple’s room with private garden and another room with four beds. Each room is complete with its own bathroom.
FEEL
We tried their 60-minute “Traditional Balinese Massage” (175k) which was therapeutic and done to alleviate stress and loosen the muscles. Prior to the massage, a ritual foot bath was done to soothe the muscles, using sea salt and aromatic soap that worked to cleanse the foot. We then moved to the bed and the massage began. A combination of hand movements was applied during the treatment, combined with proper stretching and essential oils that improved blood circulation. It included long strokes, firm pressure and deep kneads applied to pressure points which aimed to relieve pain, as well as to channel the flow of energy. A cup of herbal tea was served as the treatment ended, providing us a rejuvenating feeling.
INGREDIENTS
There are three options of aromatherapy oils to choose from, including green tea, chocolate and strawberry. These aromatherapy oils have wonderfully fresh scents, and are all good to set the mood during the treatment.
MAGIC
Sailla Spa’s menu has a good combination of treatments for your face, foot and your whole body, for reasonable prices that won’t break the bank. With its location being in Kuta, this spa can also be another option for those who wish to have a bit of pampering after a day under the sun.
