Sailla Spa is the beauty and relaxation center of Grand Istana Rama Bali that takes place in the quieter part of Kuta. Boasting a traditional interior, this spa lies among the lush garden of the hotel, with its Balinese-style façade showing the island’s craftsmanship through the ornamented pillars and brick walls. Step into the spa, we are welcomed by the friendly staff as well as a spacious lounge area complete with numbers of chairs for reflexology. The spa housing two treatment rooms, one has three beds aimed for single person treatment and the other has two beds for a couple treatment. Each room is complete with its own bathroom.
FEEL
Among their signature treatments, we tried their 90-minute “Sailla Secret” (250k nett) which is a combination of their 60 minutes Balinese Traditional Massage and 30 minutes facial. This treatment incorporates various combinations of hand movements with proper stretching and essential oils that helps improved blood circulation. The massage also included long strokes, firm pressure and deep kneads applied to pressure points aimed to relieve pain, as well as to channel the flow of energy. Finished with the body massage, the treatment turn into a facial session started with a thorough cleaning of the whole face area. Feeling light and clean, our face was then gently scrubbed with a refined scrubbing cream. Right after, the therapists apply a relaxing cream along with a slow gentle massage, followed by an application of facial mask cream and ended with moisturizer. A cup of herbal tea was served as the treatment ended, providing us a rejuvenating feeling.
INGREDIENTS
Sailla spa makes a good use of Balinese local products for their signature treatments, including their various scented aromatherapy oil which includes chocolate, green tea, strawberry, and lavender scent. They also provide some choices for the scrub, such as green tea, coffee, chocolate, and Javanese lulur which promise a great benefit for the skin.
