Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Hard Rock Hotel Bali, Rock Spa is indeed an oasis, especially for those who wish for a pampering experience on their free days. Embracing a homey vibe, the spa looks earthy with a combination of rattan furnishings and wooden adornments, and dim lighting provides warmth. It is also skirted with huge glass windows, letting guests enjoy the lush view of the hotel’s tropical garden from its spacious lounge area.
FEEL
Launched last year, Rhythm and Motion might have been the most exceptional addition to Rock Spa. As the world’s first music-centric spa menu, the treatments treat guests to a rhythmic massage experience, utilizing sounds, vibrations, pressures and patterns as its foundation. Among its four treatments, we tried their “Synchronicity” (550k), and it undeniably brought us to a state of deep relaxation simply by laying on the massage bed. What made it more distinguished was the bed where we laid on; it vibrated to the music’s rhythm. The treatment began as the music played. Facing up, it started with body stretching, followed by foot scrub to get us ready for the next steps. While the bass vibrations rippled through the massage table, treble beats came from above, sending pulses through the body. It was then combined with a deep massage which helped push the tension away from our body. The pressure worked gently on every part of our body, while the healing power of music calmed the mind. Warm towels were sometimes used to help improve blood circulation and hot stones were then put on our back, marking the end of our treatment that day.

INGREDIENTS
This treatment uses Serenity oil, mixing lavender and lime for a relaxing effect. For the application, it is added with body butter which is good for your skin. Additionally, this treatment also applies a homemade foot scrub which is made from fresh ingredients including sugar, ginger and lime.
