In the Hard Rock Hotel you’ll find a sanctuary to indulge yourself in a calming session of treatments at the Rock Spa. Inside the spa room, you’ll find yourself surrounded by an earthy tones featuring a combination of rattan furnishings and wooden adornments, with a warm light to make it feel homier. A huge glass window around the main area allows you to take a peek at the greenery of the hotel’s tropical garden while lounging.
FEEL
Among the many treatments offered, a 60 minute facial session called Face the Music (IDR 500K++) from the Rhythm and Motion spa arrangement was chosen. The arrangement is a ground breaking package of pampering which combines the ripple of bass shaker through the massage table and the art of pressure and pattern from the masseuse. Starting the session, we were offered to choose our treatment music while we sip the sweet cold ginger lime and honey drink. There are four choices of music coming from world musicians composing healing and calming melodies. Then, as soon as we lay on the bed, the therapists starts the facial with a face cleanser. Feeling light and clean, our face then gently scrubbed with a refined scrubbing cream. Proceeded into a series of a cooling sensation of toner, facial wash and gentle massages with a massaging stone starting from the forehead to the chin. The next touch for the face is a face mask made from water lilies. Thereafter, while the mask formula is working on our face, the therapists works on our hands with a scrubbing session using a papaya scrub. Last, the therapist took off our mask, splashed a bit of toner, gave a few tender shoulder and head massages and we we’re ready to glow.

INGREDIENTS
For Face the Music, Rock Spa uses a soothing mask made of water lily and aloe vera. For those oily face sufferers, don’t worry as this face mask will absorb those bothersome oils as well as calm and rehydrate the skin. Other ingredients such as virgin coconut oil, sweet grass essential oil, and ginger honey sugar or papaya scrub are all available for your head to toe pampering needs in this spa.
