Rock Spa lies amidst the lively ambience of Hard Rock Hotel, serving as an oasis for those who wish to be spoiled like a rock star. Edgy yet tidy, the warm-colored interior is given dim lighting for a homey vibe, while the contemporary idea of rattan furnishings and wooden adornments adds a bit of nature into the spa. It is skirted with huge glass windows that let guests enjoy the lush view of the hotel’s tropical garden, enhancing the natural feeling in every experience.
FEEL
It was just recently that Hard Rock Hotel Bali released Rhythm and Motion at the Rock Spa. Rhythm and Motion is known as the world’s first music-centric spa menu, utilizing a unique combination of amplified vibrations, pressures and patterns as the foundation of its four treatments. We decided to give one of the treatments a try, and it was their “Synchronicity” (550k) that won our hearts. This treatment was a pulsating massage which featured a masterfully-blended soundtrack, in sync with a performance of techniques and pressures. As bass vibrations rippled through the massage table, treble beats came from above, sending pulses through the body. The vibration and beats were then combined with a deep Swedish massage which helped push the tension away from our body. The pressure worked gently and precisely on every part of our body, while the healing power of music made everything even better. After 60 minutes, this groundbreaking experience left us totally refreshed.
INGREDIENTS
Rock Spa offers three essential oils for this treatment. The oils are Balance which is made from orange, rosemary and basil, Energize from ginger, eucalyptus and grapefruit, and Chill from lavender, geranium and sandalwood.
MAGIC
Their spa experience is truly amazing. The music was totally unique and there’s like musical vibration created through your body. The current top 40 tunes were a great blend. On departure, you are provided with a warm wheat bag, laid on shoulders for a few minutes to give an exceptional ending before you leave the spa.
