Set inside a tranquil sanctuary on the southern part of Kuta Bali, surrounded by the lush greenery of Rama Beach Resort and Villa, Rama Spa is designed to soothe the senses, offering guests a range of holistic treatments. Supporting the services, the traditional-inspired spa provides complete facilities, housing eight therapy rooms including one room designed for foot reflexology. From the lobby to the therapy room, we were greeted with beautiful traditional Balinese adornment to set our mood for the relaxing journey.
FEEL
The treatment we picked from their menu was the 60-minute “Aromatherapy Massage” (480k net), and it was a great treatment that helped us reduce stress and re-balance our energy. Our treatment began with a soothing foot bath ritual, followed by an aromatherapy body massage. The massage began with a light pressure across the legs before moving into a firmer pressure and sliding movement along with blends of stretching and acupressure throughout the legs for a balanced body and relaxed mind. The same series of movements continued onto the back of the body and again facing upwards.The massage worked together perfectly with our chosen aromatherapy oil. One thing that made the oil more special was that it had been warmed prior to the massage, so that it was good for stimulating the flow and energy within our body, as well as helping melt the tension away. After 60 minutes, our session ended with a refreshing ginger drink.
INGREDIENTS
For this “Aromatherapy Massage”, the spa focuses on using local products including Balinese herbs and spices as the ingredients. The options include Kutus Kutus Oil and Bokashi Oil which are great for healing. In addition to these, there is also Frangipani Oil which is perfect for those who want to feel more relaxed.
