Among the lush gardens and tropical trees of Hotel Vila Lumbung lies Lumbung Spa where guests can immerse themselves in a rejuvenating spa experience through the selection of treatments offered. Utilizing its own lumbung-like building, this spa maintains the classic Balinese details in its interior, featuring wooden furniture, local paintings and carved doors. The spa houses two couple rooms, a dedicated area for hair treatments, manicure and pedicure, as well as an outdoor treatment bale for those who prefers different ambience.
FEEL
Lumbung Spa offers a quite extensive selection treatments for face and body, including various massage and exfoliation options. What we preferred on our visit was their 30-minute “Back Massage” (110k) which was not only good to cure back pain, but also super relaxing. Using a deep pressure, the massage aimed to help alleviate our muscle tension. The pressure was applied gently along the meridian, as well as to the pressure points, helping the joints function better. Our session on the day was then continued with the 60-minute “Refresher Facial” (210k). What made this treatment special was that it used fresh, natural ingredients for the whole treatment, including cucumber, candlenut and yogurt. Using products with no preservatives and additives, what we had as a result was a rejuvenated, nourished and healthier skin. Moreover, it was also super safe for sensitive skin.
INGREDIENTS
For the massage, the spa offers three kinds of aromatherapy for guests to choose from. The options are jasmine, lavender, lemongrass and sandalwood. Each provides a pleasant aroma to help the mind relax during the treatment. For the facial, the ingredients used include yogurt as the toner, mashed candlenut as the scrub and sliced cucumber as the mask.
