Nestled inside the L Hotel, within walking distance of many fun places around Seminyak, L’Spa is a pampering hidden gem located on Jalan Petitenget. Occupying the 1st floor of the hotel, this one room spa is adorned with an admirable modern interior and surrounded by dimmed lighting and soothing music.
THE TREATMENT
As we stepped into the lobby we were greeted by their friendly and hospitable staff who then lead us to the treatment room. We enjoyed their signature Gorgeous Diva treatment for 150 minutes (IDR 980K nett), a full on L Style beautifying ritual. Laying on the massage bed, our therapist begins the massage with gentle pressure across the back of the body and legs. With their lemongrass scented oil, the massage moves into a rigorous, yet therapeutic combination of long, gliding movements, skin rolling and firm kneading along the pressure points to warm and relax your muscle tissue. The therapist also applied some deep pressure during the massage in order to work on the muscle knots. However, the pressure was easily personalized as it could be tailored according to our wishes. The next step was a scrub application. The therapist chose for us their best scrub variant – a chocolate scrub which provides a powerful moisture booster and stimulates cell renewal while firming up the skin. After the scrub, a series of other beauty rituals also offered in this package include a peppermint footbath, Hot Towel body compress and refresher facial. It is a guarantee that you will feel like new after you go through this entire treatment.
INGREDIENTS
L’Spa offers three variations of scented oil with coconut base. The options are lemongrass for a cleansing effect and ylang-ylang and Jasmine for relaxation. For the scrub, they provide some options including chocolate, green tea, coffee mocha, and kemiru. All of their products provide a noticeable healing effect for your body and mind and is also great for skin health as it helps bring back a natural glow.
