In a cozy nook of Kuta Paradiso Hotel, Kuta, you will find a sanctuary to indulge yourself in a calming session of treatments in their Jalanidi Spa. While we head to our treatment room, we are greeted by the harmony of nature and culture as the spa interior combines a green-dominated interior, which represents Bali’s lush nature, and the traditional wooden and stone furniture of Indonesia. Jalanidi spa houses three couple rooms with bathtubs and showers, as well as five single rooms, all named after tropical flowers.
FEEL
Out of their extensive menu of rejuvenating treatments, we choose to enjoy their 60 minute Balinese Massage (IDR 544K nett). Prepping us for the massage, the treatment started with a ritual foot bath with lavender salt scrub to exfoliate the dead skin cells. Soon after we laid on the massage bed, our therapist began the massage with gentle pressure across the back of the body and legs. Afterwards, with their aromatherapy oil, the massage moved into a firm combination of stroking, pressing and gliding movements. With a naturally intuitive touch, the treatments will help us to increase blood flow and oxygen to deeper tissue. The effects of the long palm pressure stroke included in the massage will leave us feeling calm and content. As the final touch, the treatment ended with a an intense yet relaxing shoulder and head massage. To freshen up our body, a cup of ginger tea was offered after the treatment.
INGREDIENTS
For their various treatments, Jalanidi Spa offers three variations of coconut based oil that help soothe mind and soul during the treatment. The options are Revitalizing Oil that mix mandarin orange and jasmine, Energizing Oil that mixes ginger and lime, and Relaxing Oil that has a coffee essence. Meanwhile, the scrubs include Green Tea, Strawberry and Coffee.
