The Island Spa at Sun Island Hotel & Spa Legian is positioned on the fourth floor of the hotel, housing two single rooms, plus one double room with shower, bathtub and couches for the foot ritual. The spa rooms are spacious and comfortable, fashioned with local elements and adornments to reflect the Balinese ambience.
FEEL
This visit, we gave their signature “Bali Coffee Body Bliss” (450k) a go. The whole session took 120 minutes, and it really made for a good remedy for a tensed body and mind, thus boosting our well-being. We began with a ritual foot bath, letting us rest our weary feet while getting ready for the next treatment. After the refreshing start our therapist then continued the session with a Balinese massage, with subtle yet deep pressure applied accurately to leave therapeutic effects on the body. The body scrub came next, using their special ground coffee scrub for a stimulating feel, followed by a body mask which left our skin smoother, thanks to the essences of chocolate and honey. Once we were done with the body treatments, our therapist let us use the shower and luxury flower bath. It all ended with the application of body lotion made of ginger and lime that provided us an aromatic and warming feeling.
INGREDIENTS
Island Spa provides four aromatherapy oils to support this treatment. There are the most-favored lime oil which has a very refreshing aroma, lavender oil to relieve anxiety and stress, green tea oil to help reduce joint pain, and yin-yang oil which provides a great balance of warm and cool, created by blending cinnamon and sandalwood.
