Going up into the lobby of Finns Beach Club, you’ll be greeted by the friendly smiles of the staff of the Body Temple Spa. The entrance of the spa is compact and efficient with a small reception and a beautifully arranged shelf to display their signature products. A super comfortable sofa is provided for the guest while they grab a cup of sweet rosella tea as they pick out which aromatherapy candle will be used for the treatment. Later on, while the staff guide you to your therapy room, you’ll feel relaxed as the subdued light and nice sweet fragrances surround you.

FEEL
We chose their hottest holiday offer treatment namely the Bamboo Body Ritual (IDR800K). The 100 minute session began with a foot bath salt scrub to remove dry, flaky, dead skin. Afterwards, the therapists layed us on our stomach and thoroughly smeared a mix of bamboo scrub to our legs and back. After a while, the scrub is cleansed off the body leaving a glowing and smooth feeling on the skin. Ahead of the next session, the therapist will explain a little about the signature aromatherapy candle and rub a generous amount of warm oil from the lit candle on the body which was pleasantly warm and soothing. Starting with light pressure into a firm massage from the toe to the back followed by a sliding back and forth movement, our bodies were made to be ready for the warm bamboo stick to be involved. During the bamboo massage, the therapist carefully glides the warm bamboo stick over our legs and our upper body while occasionally patting the stick on our skin in a fast movement. This was done to shatter the fat that arrest underneath our skin.
INGREDIENTS
The Bamboo scrub used for this treatment is the combination of Oryza sativa (rice) powder, Monascus Purpureus (glutinous rice) powder, Aloe Barbadensis (aloevera) extract, Bambusa vulgaris (bamboo exfoliation) powder, Litsea Cubeba (litsea) essential oil and Citrus lemon (lemon) essential oil. While their refreshing candle massage oil is made of Beeswax, lavender, vanilla, orange and sunflower essential oil. You can also purchase their magical spa essentials packaged as shower gels, body lotion, and massage oil at their outlet.
