The Island Tattoo Connection is a non-profit event. Well-respected tattoo artists are flying in from all over the world to collaborate with local artisans in traditional works such as batik, wood carving, painting, and sculpting. The aim is to support and rediscover the values of Indonesian art through tattoo, while raising funds to assist with the natural calamities that have hit Indonesia in recent years.
Artists will be working together and celebrating Balinese culture for a week, between May 13 – 19. On the final day, there will be a closing party and exhibition held at La Brisa where all the epic collaborations and experiences will be on display.
Some of the big names attending the event are Kasas Ink, Tony Donaire, DiamantéMurru, John Ma, and Guy Le Tatooer.
