Scholars of Sustenance are continuing their amazing job supporting the Suwung Village, also known as a trash village or the biggest garbage landfill in Bali. Located only 15 minutes away from the busy area of Kuta, which attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world every day. SOS have been regularly visiting to help the 100+ families working at the mountain of trash daily, separating piles of garbage for a living. SOS have been providing the inhabitants of the Suwung Village with nutritious meals that in fact, were going to be destined to that same land fill if SOS weren’t actively acquiring the food from hotels and restaurants around the island. If you would like to help a good cause, here is the perfect chance. Please visit scholarsofsustenance.org for more information.
