Time to hit the waves boys and girl! Rip Curl will unspool their highly-anticipated competition: the 14th Annual GromSearch series set to launch this April. The competition has been a fantastic platform for those angling to be the next big thing in the pro surfing waters. For the unfamiliar, grom is the name given to the young surfers who will compete in three age categories: 16 and under; 14 and under; and 12 and under. The GromSearch kicks off at Lombok on April 22 – 23; at Cimaja, West Java, on May 13 – 14; then lastly Canggu on September 23 – 24, after which the National Final will be held in October.
