Parading Bali’s Unique Traditions at the 39th Bali Art Festival

Bali offers an abundance of art and cultural heritages that are still preserved until today, and the 39th Bali Art Festival (Pesta Kesenian Bali) will provide a month-long platform for them to shine on. Held from June 10 to July 8 at Taman Budaya Bali in Denpasar, this year’s Bali Art Festival will feature unique traditions from almost every region in Bali such as the Ngusaba or perang pandan tradition from Karangasem district. In fact, there’s a special team that visits each district prior to the event to ensure the authenticity of their customs. Don’t miss the parade on opening day which will surely be quite a spectacle.
