Many people in Bali have done their share in saving the environment, and for their contribution ROLE Foundation will be honoring them with the Clean Oceans Warrior Award which will be part of their upcoming Waterman Week event from 25 August – 1 September. The recipients include among others the precocious Wijsen sisters from Bye Bye Plastic Bags; Marine Azure Earth who built a solar-powered boat; Komang Sudiarta’s Malu Dong community who have helped in cleaning up beaches; the booking site Book Greener; and many others. The award, along with charity night, will be part of Waterman Week’s Hawaiian-themed closing night at Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali.
