The environmentally friendly TrashStock Festival is coming back for a third round on August 25 – 26 at Kulidan Kitchen, Gianyar. Initiated by Balinese Hendra Arimbawa and Frenchman Julien Goalabre, the festival will offer two days of exhibitions that feature art made from recycled plastics as well as photography and paintings inspired by the plastic waste issues in Bali. Other than to inspire and entertain (past musical guests include Bali’s leading activist musicians such as Robbie Navicula and The Mangrooves), the TrashStock Fest intends to educate and engage both kids and youths with their environmentally-themed workshops.
