New Place: Moon Rabbit

Moon Rabbit Dim Sum and Liquor just softly opened this month on Jalan Petitenget.  This is a new spot in the Seminyak and offers Cantonese dim sum, authentic Chinese cuisine and a lot of awesome cocktails.
The moon rabbit in folklore is predicatbly a rabbit that lives on the moon, based on a feature on the moon that resembles a rabbit. In East Asian folklore the Moon Rabbit sacrifices itself to warriors to help them sustain themselves after battle.
The venue has a combination of Chinese red colours, teak wood panels, natural brick-walls and Oriental ornaments.  The venue feels rustic, but has a young and energetic touch, with a modern-contemporary Chinese ambience.
Moon Rabbit’s Head Chef Sifo came from a well-known Jakarta dim sum restaurant and his talented hands have created more than 20 savoury Cantonese-style dim sum dishes and other authentic Asian Chinese foods.
