New Place: El Merkat

There’s a new Spanish style restaurant in the Bukit area called El Merkat and they’ve been serving a plethora of Spanish style dishes since September. El Merkat means the market in Catalan, a regional dialect of Spain. The place serves fresh market style food, some of which is Spanish, but also from a number of different countries. Their food influences are mostly from the Mediterranean, Latin countries and with some Asian dishes.
El Merkat is suitable for families, group lunches or dinner. They also have their own boutique as well, located on the second floor and offerings El Merkat branded beach wear and accessories.
Try their Signature Bokatas (baguette sandwiches), special all day breakfast (including rolls, healthy bowls and egg platters) and prime selection of Spanish cold cut meats.
Size/capacity:
It’s a two-storey building and can fit around 80 patrons.
Opening hours:
8.30am – 5pm. Open every day, except Tuesday for now.
Will be open for dinner soon.
Price range:
Food ranges from 25K to 100K, while drinks range from 20K to 90K.
