With this edition of Chef’s Recommendation we dined at Seminyak’s iconic Italian restaurant; Ultimo. This foodie destination located on ‘Eat Street’ has been an expat and traveller favourite for over 15 years.
As we settled into the al fresco area, Chef Nyoman Sanjaya served a delightful Bistecca Di Rib Eye Da Invecchiamento Secco, priced at Rp 250,000. This dish consists of an imported 250 gram rib eye steak, served with a vibrant butternut squash puree and a medley of sautéed potatoes and vegetables. It’s a definite “Wow” at first bite, with its medium–well tenderness and black pepper sauce that perfects the dish, accompanied by a homegrown glass of red.

All in all, another quality dish served by the Ultimo team, rightfully establishing their stand as a Seminyak favorite.
