Muay Thai with its tremendous fitness benefits has not only earnt its place in many fighters’ hearts but also reached everyday people who want to get fit and enjoy the physical benefits of this ancient martial art.

If you are in Bali and looking for a training camp, check out Dee Muay Thai. Founded by Marcos Manurung in 2012, following the success of his M-Muay Thai Boxing Camp in Jakarta that started in 2008. Dee Muay Thai was born in a mission to teach students in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper physical training and nutritional advice. Marcos who is a fitness professional with 14 years of experience as personal training himself partnered up with Riswan Manurung and together they brought Muay Thai to the land of the Gods under the roof of Dee Muay Thai (Dee, means good in Thai).

At Dee Muay Thai, students will learn all the basics fundamental necessities to master this martial art – using your hands, elbows, knees and shins in various ways of punches, kicks and clinch techniques. The practice itself involves both aerobic and anaerobic fitness which at the same time will improve your muscular strength and endurance as well as cardiovascular performance. In addition, Muay Thai requires a great commitment and discipline which in the long run will become a great value to posses. The typical class at Dee Muay Thai consists of dynamic stretching, warm up, skipping, shadow boxing, pad work with the Coach, heavy bag work, sparring techniques, clinching and wai kru and cool down stretching at the end.

Dee Muay Thai specialize in Muay Thai training programs for all levels, both group classes and personal training and nutrition. The gym is equipped with heavy bags, training gears, boxing ring etc. Along with other facilities including accommodation and restaurant – all in one location!

With a drop in fee of IDR 80K, Weekly IDR 350K and monthly IDR 1.200K, you will have access to join 1x training per day of the classes they have available. Classes are on Monday – Friday at 8-10am and 6-8pm and on Saturday 9-11am and 4-6pm. Private training can be done as early as 6am, booking is required. The Gym is closed on Sunday.
