The latest in our long-running Potato Head Presents series sees us welcome a pair of wildly talented and proudly uncompromising artists for an extended session. Groundbreaking artist SBTRKT makes his Desa Potato Head debut, bringing his soul-drenched fusion of bass, future breaks and ethereal electronica to our oceanside creative playground. He arrives following the release of his latest album, ’THE RAT ROAD’ — his first LP in seven years — which saw him collaborate with no fewer than 10 guest artists on a far-reaching set of tracks. Bringing her cultured sound to the lineup is Japanese DJ, producer and label head, Powder – a venerated musical force who’s quietly become one of the most sought-after DJs on the global circuit.
Completing the Seminyak soundtrack will be a hand-selected lineup of resident DJs, adding their eclectic blends to the party mood at what’s sure to be another unforgettable Potato Head Bali event.
SBTRKT
After exploding onto the global stage with his eponymous debut LP in 2011, SBTRKT has gone on to release four studio albums and a string of hard-hitting singles, collaborating with the likes of Sampha, Little Dragon, Jessie Ware, Toro Y Moi and more across a varied but consistently brilliant musical catalogue.
POWDER
Powder is a Tokyo-based DJ, producer, and founder of the Thinner Groove label. Driven by a curious nature and an unwavering love for the dancefloor, the deep house innovator is known for her passionate eclecticism, seamless mixes, and elegantly understated approach.
Sattle
Sattle is an Indonesian-based artist from West Java. Inspired by a far-reaching blend of sounds, he’s known for his work alongside local collectives including Jam Malam, and Push/Pull, as well as his ongoing Headstream show.
Seabass
Seabass is a Bali-based DJ known for crafting sensual soundscapes at his Calypso sunset session and late-night event, Heatwave. His expansive sets twist and turn through disco, funk, rock, jazz and electronica.
