ORBITWARE – VAULT TUESDAY 14TH FEB

ORBITWARE is a Bali based platform that showcases and represents talent in contemporary club culture with artistic unity. Taking place at VAULT, ORBITWARE will set up their second program on February 14th with a series of live performances featuring DJ sets from The Rotterdam-based duo ANIMISTIC BELIEFS, Bali-based experimental electronic-gamelan duo KADAPAT, Jakarta-based modular duo RANDOM BROTHERS, as well as sets from MAIRAKILLA and RAISSA.

The highlighted duo Linh Luu and Marvin Lalihatu of ANIMISTIC BELIEFS have steadily solidified their spot in the global underground with their profound take on electronic music influenced by cultural concepts and the languages of political techno, punk, bubbling and IDM. On their new record, MERDEKA, they explore their cultural heritage in all of its pride, pain and complexity.

KADAPAT is a Balinese experimental music project that focuses on exploration of gamelan which includes deconstructed sound textures that transcend boundaries. Their intensive and hypnotic live sets feature occult presentations that offer mystical and immersive gig experiences.

RANDOM BROTHERS, formed by Nara
Anindyaguna and Randy Danistha, is an Indonesian electronic music duo that experiments with a hybrid genre between music and technology. The duo blends the borders of pop and electronic music while showcasing their passion for pop culture with dark disco techno and synthpop influences.
