Basement Jaxx

Basement Jaxx has been rocking stages since ’94 and run a righteous agenda with gigs all over paired with unique songwriting and writhing rhythms. Their tracks range from both the electro-punk ferocity of ‘Where’s Your Head At’ and ‘Get Me Off’ to EPs on their Atlantic Jaxx label and the eclectic clash of characters in their last album ‘Kish Kash’
Basement Jaxx records have always structured their tracks with a sense of organized chaos, voices, sounds and ideas ping-ponging wildly around the mix. Kish Kash is simultaneously the most extreme and most cohesive example of this mentality. They are so far ahead of the pack they’ve forgotten what the pack looks like.
Genre: UK garage, house, electronic
