Join the 70th anniversary celebration of Australian – Indonesian relations at the “Two Nations: a Friendship is Born” exhibition until the 29th of November, at the Renon Bajra Sandhi monument.
Held by the Australian Consulate General and the Bali Governor, the exhibition is curated by the Australian National Maritime museum and tales a history of the Black Armada; A name given to Dutch ships that brought troops and weapons to Indonesia at the end of its Japanese occupation. The exhibition will also include a screening of a short documentary film about Black Armada titled ‘Indonesia Calling’.
A great opportunity to learn more about Indonesia and Australia’s shared history!
