Rememoar | Now – February 12 | Restu Bumi Gallery

Amarawati Art Community presents an exhibition titled “Rememoar”. Held at Restu Bumi Gallery, this exhibition displays works that revolve around the memories of the community members who spent most of their childhood and teens in the same area, Tampaksiring. Meanwhile, the triangle-shaped media of the works are associated with the concept of time in Bali cosmology which is known as Tri Samaya, a three-division concept which consists of the past (atita), the present (nagata) and the future (wartamana). This concept also is a local wisdom in interpreting time, in which also implies an attempt to understand the past, present and future as a natural cycle.
