The Oberoi Bali currently plays host to a photography exhibition by Tjandra Hutama K., displaying the photographs of “Rejang Dancers”. Rejang dance is a Balinese ritual, performed in temples as a sacred offering to the gods. For this exhibition, every moment of the traditional dance has been turned to a collection of beautiful works, characterized by a mixture of various overlapping images in ancient colors. In his works, the artist seems to give an almost divine importance, a reminder of the presence of the gods in our daily lives.
