Mokoh for The House of Mondo

Now- September 9th | Titian Art Space

For the first time, Titian Art Space is going to display the works of the late I Dewa Putu Mokoh on their wall. Born in 1934, he had displayed his art pieces in many group exhibitions around the world such as Australia, USA, Japan, Singapore, Finland, Holland, Denmark, Germany and Italy. He also conducted a solo exhibition in the Fukuoka Art Museum in Japan in 1995. His painting was credited for displaying intimacy, sensuality and a yearning for the days of childhood, often with a humorous element. In the exhibition called “Mokoh for The House of Mondo”, 22 of Mokoh’s ideas from the year 1990 until 1992 were poured onto canvases full of beautiful soft color and uniquely formed objects.
