Mask & Dance Exhibition

Bentara Budaya Bali | February 25 – March 3

“Mask & Dance Exhibition” this time marks a series of programs to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Bentara Budaya Bali, featuring mask artist, Samadi, and dance maestro, Ni Luh Menek. Samadi is a mask artist, hailing from the village of Bobung in Yogyakarta. Having been creating masks since his early years, he is now more engaged in the manufacturing of classic masks, including the masks for Wayan Topeng. Meanwhile, Ni Luh Menek is a Balinese dance maestro who has devoted her entire life to dance. She is also the figure who managed to make the village of Tejakula an icon identical to the dance she performs.
