Kalisa Kutuh Art Group are currently holding a group exhibition at Museum Puri Lukisan. Named ‘Kalisa Kutuh Exhibition’, this exhibition showcases the artists’ original paintings which portray the life of agrarian villagers, as well as their religious ceremonies and folklores. Technically, some of these paintings are influenced by a painting technique which is developed in Petulu Village and is a continuation of the Pita Maha technique. The materials used still refer to the old materials and tools, namely Chinese ink and paint with water diluent.
