INDRA

Now- August 18th | Griya Drupadi

A painting exhibition entitled ‘INDRA’ will be held exclusively at Griya Drupadi, Renon, Denpasar. The exhibition is showcasing the works by Ida Bagus Indra or IBI, as people know him. INDRA is not only derived from the artist’s name but also refers to the Indonesian word which is equivalent to ‘sense’, a faculty by which the body perceives sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch. INDRA is actually the word to imply what IBI is trying to convey to the onlookers throughout his canvases: Sensation. He conveys the word into a ‘beyond real’ human form such as a series of painting of women dancing which appear flashing, emerging and submerging like a fleeting smoke. The definition of beauty at its finest. To book your attendance on the venue you can contact Nico on 082340333023.
