#ARTOTELforHOPE 2018

Now- December 31st | Tonyraka Art Gallery

Artotel is once again delighted to present their annual social event to celebrate all the festivites at the end of the year with #ARTOTELforHOPE. Through this art event, Artotel wants to raise the awareness and concern for the community regarding the preservation of Indonesia’s forests. Two contemporary Indonesian artists, Andang Iskandar, as the photographer from ART Space Humanika Bandung and Bayu Widodo, a painter from Survive Garage Yogyakarta, are invited to interpret the nature of Merabu Village in Berau, East Kalimantan in their creation. Guests can write their hopes about forests and conservation in Indonesia in a leaf-shaped recycled paper which is then affixed to the Wall of Hope and takes the shape of a tree.
