Taking place at ARMA Museum, “Art Bridge: Indonesia-Korea Art Exchange Project” showcases a collection of works by six Indonesian and six Korean artists. This exchange project shows the idea about the two countries who share certain particular similarities in terms of cultural traditions, including aspects that still influence contemporary art. Meanwhile, traditional art is also still practiced by both countries, and strongly influences their contemporary art as well. This mutual sharing of space, as well as the artists’ cultural likenesses and experiences, have further allowed the exhibiting artists to get to know each other better, creating an art bridge which is now ready to be shared to the wider audiences.
