Griya Art Gallery presents “A Land to Remember”, a painting exhibition by Balinese artist, Putu Bonuz Sudiana. His works sees him portray his childhood memories, as well as the nagging uneasiness which sprang from seeing the changes that took hold of his birth place, Nusa Penida. These matters are painted creatively in his abstract works, shown through his dynamic compositions which are also laden with strong emotional feelings. Expressive chiseled lines and sweeping colors are what he uses to express the abhorrence toward everything that stand against his conscience, replacing his anger and disappointment that can no longer be conveyed through words.
