60 YEARS of Indonesia & Japan friendship

May 19 – 26 | Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets

Celebrating the 60 years of friendship of Indonesia and Japan, the Consulate General of Japan in Denpasar, together with Hayachine Take Kagura Supporters’ Association and Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets, presents a series of activities, including dance performances and workshop, as well as photography and mask exhibition. Kicking off the “60 Tahun Persahabatan Indonesia & Jepang” week is Hayachine Take Kagura dance showcase, as well as mask dance performances from Bali Wali group. The week also sees a photography exhibition by Japanese photographer, Yusuke Nishimura, and Bali-based photographer, Doddy Obenk, as well as the pieces by Balinese mask artist, Cokorda Raka Sedana.
